Feburary Program Meeting- Love of a Child
Our February program is a unique program of love. Our speaker will explain how a beautiful child can change the path of your life. On February 4th at 7:00, local artist Michelle White will explain how her life changed after having a daughter with Down syndrome.
Michelle studied art at the Philadelphia College of Art. Michelle’s artwork changed from landscapes before her daughter’s birth to the human forms after her daughter’s birth.
Her artwork since her daughter’s birth has been special needs children, families, the poor and abused. These were never models she considered doing until she faced the challenges of her daughter’s life. Her daughter’s birth also led her to a more spiritual journey with God as expressed in her art.
