July Program / Native American Artifacts

Our July program will be on July 2nd at 6:30 p.m. at the Bahr’s Mill (NOTE THE EARLIER TIME AND THE PLACE).  We will keep an eye on the weather if it is raining, we will meet at the society building.  We’ll announce it on Facebook.

     Our presenters are members of our society and our metal detecting club.  Dennis and Christy Wissinger will be sharing their love of searching for Native American artifacts.  They have been enjoying this hobby together for over 30 years, but Christy had picked up the love of searching as a young girl so has been looking for over 60 years.  During that time the couple have found many interesting artifacts.

     Please join us to hear about some of the very early history of our area and see some of the amazing tools that were crafted by the people who walked the same ground that we now walk hundreds and even thousands of years ago.

Members are free and Non-Members are $5 for the event.
