This isn’t your average mill – Bahr’s Mill uniquely operated as both a woodworking mill and a grain grinding operation, offering a fascinating glimpse into 19th-century life and industry.

The Boyertown Area Historical Society invites you to discover the rich history preserved within its walls. While the Historical Society’s main museum is currently undergoing renovations, Bahr’s Mill itself has been a place of active discovery and learning.

Bahr’s Mill offers guided tours and opportunities to get hands-on with history through archaeological searches. Imagine uncovering artifacts and piecing together stories from long ago! Interested in helping with the archaeological search, feel free to bring your gloves along, we have extra aprons available if you’d like to use one while you unearth history.

The 2025 tour season will bring guided tours and many upcoming archaeological searching opportunities. We highly encourage you to stop in and check things out.
