Silversmithing, Aaron Wozniak- April Program

Our April meeting on April 1st (no kidding) will be a hobby silversmith, Aaron Wozniak. Aaron enjoys lost time at a jeweler’s bench. Hand forged silver and copper is his method of capturing creative energy in metal form. Forged by hammer and joined by flame, his work imparts a unique energy infused by those methods. Aaron will display and discuss some of the old tools he has collected to do his work, including a Fisher anvil from 1889 and a Hay Budden anvil from 1914. He will also bring along an assortment of old hammers and forming stakes he has collected to pursue his art.
