August Program- Monarch Butterfies

Our August Program will be taking flight. Not a real flight, a butterfly flight. Our program meeting will be on August 5th at 7:00 pm. at the society building. Janis Good, our local Monarch Butterfly lady, will be talking about how she got started raising Monarch Butterflies over 21 years ago.
The Monarch Butterfly is a creature of habit, and they migrated each year to Mexico. She will explain about this migration and also the lifespan of Monarch Butterflies.
A few of her butterflies have managed to make the voyage from Boyertown, PA to Rosario, Mexico. Learn how they know they actually came from Boyertown and made all the way to Mexico.
The whole cycle is extremely amazing. Come on down and learn about these beautiful creatures.
